Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk who was an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good information that she was pregnant while filming Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its popularity on social media has gained a significant online following.
